Admissions Committee

The Admissions Committee reviews applications and selects students for admission, and makes campus assignments to the College of Pharmacy and the WPPD program. Furthermore, this committee recommends changes in admission standards to the faculty and makes recommendations on pre-pharmacy course requirements. The committee meets regularly (at least bi-weekly) during the spring semester, and as needed during other semesters. The committee reports to the Dean, Associate Dean, Executive Committee, and the faculty.

The membership consists of faculty, pharmacy practitioners from both community and institutional settings, as well as two or three pharmacy students. This committee also consists of a subcommittee of Working Professional PharmD (WPPD) faculty members and students that only consider admission to the WPPD Program. The Chairperson is the Associate Dean for Student Affairs.
